Shiva is a Morehead-Cain Scholar at UNC Chapel Hill—one of the nation’s most prestigious merit scholarships—studying public policy, sociology, and mathematics. He is a nationally recognized leader who has founded multiple organizations and served as an elected school board trustee. His honors include Coca-Cola Scholar, Udall Scholar, and multiple national fellowships. Shiva has led large-scale initiatives focused on civic engagement and climate policy.
