Olivia Carmichael recently completed her Master’s Degree in European and Global Studies at the University of Padova, graduating with honors and a focus on global social policy, security, and data privacy. She previously graduated from the University of Florida Honors College as an International Scholar.

Olivia has built an impressive international background in policy research, sustainability, education, and global affairs. Her experiences include education policy work in Washington, DC, sustainability leadership for an award-winning startup in Italy, and research and translation work with the European Youth Think Tank in Strasbourg. Her graduate thesis focused on large-scale data privacy, compliance, and risk analysis related to European Union policy.

Passionate about global education, policy, research, and mentorship, Olivia enjoys helping students think critically about the world around them while building strong academic and organizational skills. She especially loves working with students interested in international studies, law, policy, sustainability, writing, and social impact initiatives.
